A brave new year

The weather was great, the water was fast, and the company was stellar. Dave, Don, Barb and I made the first foray of 2008 to the North Fork of the South Platte this weekend. The water was a tepid 51 degrees, but the wetsuits did thier work. We did 4 runs in all walking back to the start after each one. Don was the most daring, dropping in above some class 3 (that's what I would call it, but I'm no boater. Somebody else can confirm). Here's a brief video of the starting water.
